I tried some humic products to see if I could help my poorer land produce rather than burning out my better ground by trying to over produce it with more inputs. I noticed positive results with humic, so I decided to do more this fall on almost every acre.

There are things in this industry I feel we don't talk about openly enough among producers.  Soil health and fertility are two of those things.  We've been using liquid humic with our spray and semi soluble granular seeding in-furrow for 3 years now and I believe we have turned our dirt into soil again. With a reduced rate of spray for a chemical saving and while cutting our synthetic fertilizer cost by 25%-30% we have maintained or exceeded precious yield averages. With added moisture retention, to extremely even germination all while breaking up hardpan soil, my soils have never been so even.
